Events in Leeds From 21st September – 27th September 2026

Here's your guide to the week ahead in Leeds. As the city gets ready for a new week, you’ll find plenty to do. This week's programme is full of live music and social events, with a lively atmosphere across different neighbourhoods. You can immerse yourself in music, from indie and alternative bands playing at venues like Brudenell Social Club, to electronic music and DJ sets spanning house, disco, and drum & bass. Beyond contemporary sounds, you might also enjoy classical compositions reimagined for today's audiences, potentially at St. Bartholomew’s church. If you're looking to meet people, this week has several organised gatherings. There are dating events for different ages, including speed dating and a unique astrology-themed night, plus a relaxed rooftop social – great with the city views. For laughs, catch comedy club evenings with local and national performers, with venues such as The Key hosting regular shows. Families can enjoy a thrilling circus with daredevil stunts for all ages, potentially at First Direct Arena. A food and drink opening party offers a chance to try new places and social spaces, adding to the dining scene near Kirkstall Road. If you're a sports fan, you can catch a match at Elland Road, home of Leeds United, or a rugby league game. Consider using the bus network or Leeds Railway Station to get around. This week offers a varied selection of entertainment and social events. Keep in mind that parking in the city centre is limited, and 22 car parks will be closed from 27 March 2026, so public transport or cycling is recommended. See below for details.
